Our wonderful groomers Katey Batley and Tilly Bamforth are on hand to keep your pooch looking fabulous. From puppy trims to full grooms, Katey has 12 years of experience keeping dogs looking fabulous. Tilly has started her grooming journey with us and is proving to be an excellent groomer. The Dragonfly Dog ethos is to treat each dog as an individual and spend time getting to know what they like and how to make the grooming experience a positive one. Katey and Tilly will spend time before your appointment ensuring they know exactly what works best for your dog.
Grooming appointments are available Monday to Saturday and late nights on Thursdays.

Let us take care of your dog's grooming needs. Our fabulous groomers Katey and Tilly will ensure your dog looks and feels their best in a calm and safe grooming environment.
Katey is our senior stylist who has been grooming for 12 years and is qualified to BTEC Level 3. She also taught grooming to the next generation of groomers at Kirklees College.
Tilly has started her grooming career with us at Dragonfly and is qualified to City & Guilds Level 2 and is proving to be an excellent groomer.

We are really fortunate to have an on site clinic for additional grooming services. Our trained and professional staff are on hand to offer various welfare services from teeth cleaning, anal gland expressing to teeth cleaning.

Where are you located?
We are located at Unit 5, Kiln Hill, Industrial Park, just off the main street of Slaithwaite, Huddersfield, HD7 5JS.
10 Minutes from the M62 (Exit 23/Outlane).
10 minutes from Huddersfield town.
Where do I go when I arrive?
Please report to the shop when you arrive which is located next door to the centre.
We will check you in and let our groomer know you have arrived. She will then come to greet you.
What age should my puppy be for it's first appointment?
A puppy can come for grooming at any age providing that all required vaccinations have been carried out. Introducing your puppy to the grooming salon at an early age will build confidence and help to make the grooming process a pleasure.
How do I make a booking?
You can book all grooming appointments by calling us on 01484 246420.
What do I do if my dog has fleas?
Unfortunately we are unable to groom any dogs with fleas. This is to eliminate the spread of fleas to other dogs that may use the facility.
If you discover fleas on your dog prior to your scheduled appointment please give us a call ASAP at 01484 246420.
What will the cost be?
This is dependent on the size, coat condition, temperament and styling requirements of your pet. Please contact Dragonfly for price details.
How long will my pets appointment be?
This is dependent on the size, coat condition, temperament and styling requirements of your dog. At Dragonfly we take great care to put your pets welfare first allowing comfort breaks in-between the different processes. This therefore requires a minimum appointment time depending on your dog’s requirements.
What do I do if I need to cancel?
You can cancel or rearrange your appointment by telephone up to 48 hours prior. If appointments are cancelled or rescheduled after this time, £20 of the groom cost is required by way of forfeiting your deposit or having the card on file charged.
Do you have parking?
Yes, we do have parking.
Please ensure that whilst in the car park, your dog is on their lead until you get into the centre.
Our car park is available whilst you are on site, please do not leave your car and go into the village.
